Author's Bio:
Alana Church was born in Illinois, and has lived most of her life there. A 1994 graduate of the University of Illinois, she worked for a short time in the education field. After realizing this was not a career she wanted to pursue, she moved to the Chicago area in 1998. Since then, she has worked in many different industries, most recently in telecommunications.
An avid reader since her childhood, she began writing as a teenager. She became intrigued by erotica several years ago, after reading Jacqueline Carey's novels. In 2015 she teamed with Boruma Publishing to publish her first novel, "The Guardians of Heklos." Since then she has written dozens more erotica stories, most using themes of urban fantasy. Many take place in Des Moines, Iowa, because she finds that idea hilariously funny. Among these stories are "The Succubus" series, as well as "Gaelic Goddess, "Holy Water," and "The Snow Maid."
Alana's hobbies include amateur astronomy, reading, gardening, and sports of all types. She has four younger brothers. Her favorite authors include JRR Tolkien, Tad Williams, Jacqueline Carey, and Lois McMaster Bujold. She volunteers in local politics and drinks way too much Diet Mountain Dew. She also has a turtle named Pedro, although she has no idea as to whether the turtle is a boy or girl.
